Why is this "the Golden Standard" in Mindfulness-based Program"This 8-week course is called MBSR - Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction - developed and improved since 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center by Jon Kabbat-Zinn. And it's nicknamed the "Golden Standard" in Mindfulness programs. Here's why:

Eugen: 'I have an OK financial life, I have a wife and a healthy family, I like what I do ... and I STILL feel that I SHOULD be satisfied and glad, but for some reason, I'm not really feeling like that' ... He felt that life couldn't be just that. "I have fun, I feel good, but it's like it's a little further, and I don't know what. It seems that something is missing, maybe there is something towards spirituality, but also to be with my feet on the ground, a different connection with life. And I don't know why, and I want to try, but I feel that from what I've read and experienced, with mindfulness I could get closer to that. "
Irina's life was filled with stress: problems at work, problems at home, conflicts with people. She realized that every morning she was waking up with fearful thoughts like: „What will happen? how will I succeed this day?” She went to the psychologist, she understood rationally what was happening to her, and yet ...She couldn't stop the growing snowball. She felt that she had to do something to be able to balance herself. And this is what she learned through the MBSR course: She started to learn how to live intentionally, not just as the wind blows. She developed the attitudes of kindness, confidence and compassion, which are so important in coping with stress. And even if the situation didn't change so much, she could live a more fulfilling and joyful life in the midst of all.

This is something I couldn't actually do until then."
Elena runs her own company. She is already 50+ years old, she went through a divorce, she works a lot. All her life she took care of her family, her child, her business, her employees, etc. Until she felt lots of stress, fatigue and didn't really know why she was doing what she was doing anymore ... But at one point she had a 'revelation': that it's time to take care of her, too.
